The Story

Thirty years of building magic for others. Now she's arrived as herself.

Malica is the Founder & CEO of Grand Ri5ing LLC, an intentional apparel brand built on a simple belief: clothing should be worn like remembrance, soft against the skin, fierce in its intention, carrying both our history and our certainty wherever we go.

Her foundation includes thirty years in the music industry: co-creating Rihanna's "Pon De Replay," vocal features on Trina's Amazing album and Farruko's "Chillax," and collaborations released across streaming platforms with artists including Sly & Robbie, Tanya Stephens, Nicki Minaj, Trina, Lady Saw, Beenie Man, and Pressure Busspipe. She also co-wrote songs for Nailah Blackman, including "Sweet & Loco." But that world was a difficult teacher. She didn't know the business of music, and so much of that space stayed complicated by design. Becoming a CEO gave her a clarity she never found in those rooms, and she built Grand Ri5ing to operate the way music never did: with intention, transparency, and care.

As an intentional CEO, she curates experiences that help her clients feel seen and celebrated in their own journey, and that help them honor themselves fully. Her teaching method is her own walk: she shares what she's learning as she's living it.

As a recovering "strong one," she understands exactly why being a Serenity Engineer and an Architect of Atmosphere matters, and she builds the tools to help other women find that same steadiness, through The Sanctuary (ROOTED N RI5ING), her women's wellness community, and the Give Her Flowers podcast.

Sound Healing Ceremony

A full-body coherence experience using crystal singing bowls tuned to C, F, and G. Designed to move the room from scattered to settled. This is not background wellness. This is a ceremony. Transformative for corporate wellness events, women's retreats, and private gatherings.

Private (up to 10): $500 to $800 · Group / Event: From $1,500 Custom pricing for multi-hour or multi-day wellness programming.

Live Performance

An original artist with three decades of crafting songs that move people. Malica brings her voice, her catalog, and her presence to intimate venues, wellness events, and private experiences. Co-creator of one of the most iconic songs of the last twenty years. She knows what a room needs.

Requirements & Expectations

Once confirmed, these are the standards that allow Malica to show up fully. Please review before submitting an inquiry. A smooth engagement begins here.

Travel & Accommodation All flights, hotel (2-night minimum for out-of-town engagements), and ground transportation are covered by the host. Arrangements confirmed in writing 21 days in advance.

Intro Bio: Read as Written Malica will send her official introduction script to the host 14 days before the appearance. It must be read verbatim, in full, no improvising, shortening, or rewriting. Hosts are welcome to practice and prepare, not revise. If you have questions about the bio, reach out within 3 days of receiving it.

Promotional Deliverables Host must publish a minimum of one announcement post (at least 7 days before the event) and one recap post, both tagged with her handles. This applies to all booking types.

Recording & Livestream Agreement No video recording, audio recording, livestreaming, or photography of Malica's session/performance without a separate written agreement signed before the event.

Prep Space A quiet, private green room or preparation space is required, a minimum 30 minutes before any appearance begins. This is a non-negotiable condition of booking.
◆
Deposit & Agreement A signed booking agreement and 50% deposit are required to confirm the date. The remaining balance is due 14 days before the event.

Floor Surface No exposed concrete or hard tile. Full rug, carpet, or mat coverage is required under all participants and the ceremony setup area. Sound quality and participant experience depend on this.

Setup Time 45 minutes minimum before ceremony begins. The space must be clear of other programming and accessible to Malica for the full setup window.

Lighting Soft, dimmable lighting required. Harsh overhead fluorescents cannot be used during the ceremony. Candles or ambient lighting warmly welcomed.

Silence During Ceremony No competing noise (music from adjacent rooms, event announcements, or HVAC disruptions) during the ceremony. Host is responsible for securing silence.

Phone-Free Announcement Host must announce to all participants that phones are to be silenced and put away before the ceremony begins. Malica's equipment is sensitive and the space is sacred.

Equipment Malica travels with her own crystal singing bowls (C, F, and G). A stable, padded surface for bowl placement is required. No additional sound system needed for groups under 25.

AV & Tech Lapel or handheld microphone, stable WiFi, and a functioning projection system if slides are used. Full AV tech check 60 minutes before the session.

Slide Format If slides are provided by Malica, they are to be used as-is. No resizing to custom templates without written approval. Her branding is intentional.

Topic Scope Topic and talking points are confirmed in the booking agreement. Last-minute scope changes are not accepted. Additional topics require a separate engagement.

Brand Mentions All event materials, programs, and digital promotion must include: Grand Ri5ing LLC, The Sanctuary: ROOTED N RI5ING, and Give Her Flowers podcast with active links provided.

Pre-Interview Questionnaire Host must complete and return Malica's pre-interview form at least 5 business days before the recording date. No questions asked cold on air without prior written disclosure.

Promotional Commitment Announcement post no later than 7 days before publishing. Recap/clip post within 5 days of publishing. Both tagged with @GrandRi5ing handles. This is a condition of the complimentary tier.

Episode Links Host provides a direct episode link within 24 hours of publishing. Show notes must include active links to Grand Ri5ing LLC, The Sanctuary, and Give Her Flowers.

Content Approval Malica reserves the right to review the episode before it publishes. Any edits that significantly alter her statements require written approval prior to release.

Soundcheck Minimum 60-minute soundcheck required before any public performance. The stage and equipment must be fully ready before soundcheck begins, with no setup happening during her check.

Stage Plot & Tech Rider A full stage plot and technical rider will be provided upon booking confirmation. All technical requirements must be confirmed in writing by the venue's sound engineer 14 days before the event.

Setlist Approval Setlist is Malica's creative decision. Hosts may make a request, not a demand. No alterations to the setlist after it has been confirmed without mutual written agreement.
◆
Hospitality Hot water, honey, and lemon available at all times from soundcheck through post-performance. Private green room with a mirror and seating. No cold drafts near the performance space.
